The Retreat New Forest

The Retreat New Forest is a beautiful and tranquil well-being venue surrounded by grounds of ancient beech-woods, lakeside paths and secret walled gardens in the heart of the New Forest.
The venue was established to grow a community hub, open and friendly to all, providing a unique opportunity for respected practitioners of spiritual and holistic therapies to hire spaces to teach classes, workshops and retreats.
In addition to the teaching spaces, there are 15 Airbnb bedrooms providing the perfect place to stay and explore the New Forest and the Jurassic Coast.
The project
The brief was to craft a vibrant and relatable visual identity reflecting they are open to all community spirit. They wanted a website easy to navigate, one that would connect with practitioners researching spaces to teach, but also to engage with visitors wishing to discover a variety of classes or to simply find a place to stay for a holiday and explore the local heritage.

The outcome
The visual identity utilises bold typography incorporating a bespoke marque representing spirituality, community and their connection with the historic New Forest.
A crisp colour palette injected with fresh teal, aqua and white provides a vibrant aesthetic. The new identity was applied to assets, including business stationery, website and marketing collateral.
The fully responsive website was designed to provide an engaging user experience brought to life utilising the crisp brand colour palette, photography and white space. The structure of the website establishes a clear customer journey allowing the different types of visitors to discover the information they need.
